St Marks Outfitters

We decided in the afternoon we'd like a cruise. Someone suggested we try out outfitters so we drove over. Captain Mike was so incredibly nice. He was full the following day, we were leaving the day after, so on his day off he let us arrange a 2 hour charter! the boat was so nice and steady. Important for me as I sometimes have balance issues. Captain Mike could not have been more interesting or accommodating. If we wanted a closer look at something he turned the boat around and took us right up there. If we wanted a picture he stopped so we could get the birds, even a bald eagle sitting in a tree. He was very interesting and knowledgeable about the area. We learned a lot but in a very fun way. I would highly highly recommend outfitters and if we come back we will book again.

We planned a quick family outing with Captain Mike. A simple text reservation a week before arriving and we were set. We arrived to the boat ramp to find the Captain ready to go. Not only was he a great guy but he knows everything about everything down here to entertain and educate the kids. He immediately formed a relationship with them and made them all feel great about their first trip out. Truly setting an example of expertise and fun, after 12 days in a row working on the water, Capt. Mike guided us on the Boating adventure, informing us of history and putting us all on the fish! We caught Speckled Trout, Ladyfish, Bluefish, Sea Bass, Sail Catfish, Hardhead Catfish and a Lizard Fish! Then he took us to a sand bar in which we cooled off and waded around looking for starfish and sand dollars. On the way back, we found a school of baitfish and we lit up some ladyfish! We saw dolphins as well! There was nothing negative to say about this trip and Capt. Mike was absolutely a great person to be around. Thanks brother! We will be back in a couple of years to do it again!
