Food was good. It is a limited menu of fried or broiled selections, not 5 star chef creations, but we enjoy the shrimp and datil sauce and the quality of their product is good to mediocre. And now for the but...wait times are crazy long and dining area very small with diner vibes which is fine as we go to for taste not visual. Waitress was 5 plus plus plus star but the older window/register woman was shockingly insulting and offensively rude for no reason other than just meanness. Won't be back to a place we have enjoyed since childhood. Can't support a business that leaves a bad experience for only mediocre to good food. I will stick to the greats. This is my personal opinion and experience.

I found this restaurant to be the very best location in St. Augustine for seafood, of all kinds: shrimp, scallops, tilapia, and crab cakes; and, the side dishes too. The batter that surrounds this food was excellent. Pricing is very reasonable for what you get. If you want a great seafood meal, nice restaurant, and good service; then, go to O'Steens Restaurant in St. Augustine, Fl. - you won't regret it. Our trip to St. Augustine was wonderful and especially going to O'Steen's.
