Hot Shot Bakery n' Cafe

We had a private cooking lesson on how to make soup from Sherry of Hot Shot Bakery. It was very interesting because she spoke about the culinary influences from the Minorcans (Spinards) and Greeks that came to St. Augustine in 1777. The cafe uses locally source ingredients and has an extensive and very interesting menu. Try the Hubba Panini: it has turkey, provolone and apple slices with this AMAZING cranberry mustard. It was delish! The drink menu is pretty huge with specialty coffees, lattes and shakes. The desserts looked very good too. There is seating inside and out side. It is located in historic St. Augustine an easy walk to the visitor's centre, the Cathedral and the Castillo (Fort). She also caters for local business and the general public. Be sure and check it out it was so good.

Stopped by for a pastry snack & was satisfied always. Super fudge brownies, :hoc. chip cookies & white coconut/caramel cupcakes. To die for.

Turkey sandwich was nothing special on the tasting tour! Turkey was dry, toast over done. I think there may have been better choices.
