Barnie Walker Jr - State Farm Insurance Agent

State Farm cancelled my policy with no notice, no emails, no snail mail, and no calls. We came upon an agreement of 150 a month for my vehicle which is not great but not a bad price. I signed for auto pay and went about my life. Fastforward 3 months I notice no autopayment was made so I checked my State Farm account, which was deleted. I called to ask why I was deleted and cancelled with no claims made, and they could not give me an answer. I called again the next day 8 times to finally get told, it is because you used to live in Texas and now you live in FL, so your rates went up. They had my FL address and DL from day 1. I asked for some literature or better explanation of why I was dropped without notice and I was run around in circles as they could not provide any info about it. Luckily, I had another policy active which means I did not have a lapse. If you do have a lapse in insurance, it is almost impossible for you to ever get a good rate again, which state farm did not care and sent me on my way. I was told State farm would take me back, but my rates would jump to 500 a month instead on the 150 agreed upon. Which again made no sense to me, and they could not explain why. I ended up going to Geico and got insured for 80 a month. DO NOT USE STATE FARM. The agent that signed me up and, in the end, ran me around in circles name is Alana Yakubowski.
