Nick helped us buy our first Florida home and now has helped us sell it. He is such a kind and empathetic realtor. He is not pushy or forceful. He considers the needs of his clients and is always available to talk and discuss the sale/purchase. I can’t recommend him enough. When we first purchased our home in Florida, Nick answered the phone when I called. He was able to put together (last minute) a full day’s plan of house hunting until we found the right home for us. Other realtors that I had called prior to Nick were short with me on the phone and immediately demanded a Prequal. Even though we had our Prequal, I felt their approach was rude, unprofessional, and I was not going to give them my business. Nick, however, was very helpful and sought to earn my business by being decent and professional. Without even knowing me, he took the risk by spending all day with me to find the right home. 3 years later we are now selling our home. He was able to market it so well that we found a buyer 13 days after listing it. The listing had more views and saves than any neighboring listing, by far. Also, we had showings almost every day leading up to accepting an offer. A few additional things I’d like to mention. When we first bought our new house, Nick showed me how to maintain our pool and he also helped me spray for ants. His background in construction was very helpful too in avoiding money pits during our house hunting phase. Upon selling this home Nick came over and helped do some more pool work, on his own accord and dime. Seriously I haven’t come across a better realtor. Sold a Single-Family home in Port Charlotte, FL. My husband and I met Nick through Zillow and it was almost entirely random. We saw a property we liked and on very, very short notice, Nick made an appointment with us to see the property. We immediately liked Nick and trusted him. He gave us the time we needed to walk through the property alone without hovering, he pointed out both good and not-so-good features of the home, and was available to answer any questions we had. After seeing the property, we weren't interested in it. However, we were very invested in working with Nick to find our Florida home. In today's market, timing is everything and Nick worked diligently to find and act on the properties were wanted. It took a couple of offers, and a little bit of luck, but Nick was completely instrumental in us finding our property. Nick was very detailed oriented, stayed on top of every phase of the process, and helped with any question or issue that arose. In short, he was simply amazing! We closed on our house just 2 weeks ago and we couldn't be happier. Nick was very professional, but also personal and became a friend. I would not hesitate to work with Nick again or refer him to anyone looking for a property. Nick went to several lenders in Punta Gorda until he found one to help her. We were able to continue with the sale and close only one week later than expected. We had wanted to permanently move from Ohio to Florida for a number of years. When we finally made the decision, we needed to find a realtor. After making a few phone calls, we decided to work with Nick Peneau. This was the best decision we made. Nick guided us every step of the way in this stressful process. As we prepared our home for sale in Ohio, Nick searched for Florida properties based on our criteria for us to review online. After several months we were ready for our Florida visit and Nick was there to meet us. Within 3 days we located the property perfect for us. We were grateful for his knowledge and guidance as we navigated the purchase of our new home. He put us in touch with all of the right people to help us along the way.
