Caught my first Marlin in Cabo in September of 2022. Wow, what a rush! We took measure mints and released the fish. Back at the marina we were contacted by a representative to have the fish replica mount, who I am sure is working on a commission. We were told all we needed was to put down a $800,00 deposit and the rep. said it would only be $1,400.00 total. First of all if you think a marlin mount is only going to be $1,400.00 you are living in a dream world. She said that it would be sent to us by December. Again that was an estimate by the representative who is only trying to get the commission. I received my mount in March of 2023 and I couldn't be happier with it! The colors and detail are outstanding! It takes time to paint the replica, it costs money to crate and ship it. If you can afford to go to Cabo and sport fish and want more than a photo of your catch then spend the money to get a quality mount, and don't complain that a "representative" on the dock quoted a hella low price. 5 stars for the work! Do not work with this company. They quote you a price and no matter how many times you ask for additional charges or fees they continually told me there are not any. When i received my 1st invoice the price was significantly higher and they said that is just the way it is. They refuse to work with me or care about what i was told on the dock. This is a terrible company and nobody should ever do work with them.

STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! If I could give this a negative stars, I would. I was excited to catch a very large striped marlin while in Cabo. The sales person told me it would costs just 1k total that included shipping fees as well. I paid an 950. making the initial non refundable deposit, they sent us the real invoice. It was 1300 dollars higher! The sales person never mentioned anything about shipping and cratering fees. All he said was 1k total. If I knew shipping was going to cost 1300 dollars, I would have not ordered the fish. The sales person was in and out fast and didn't even stick around to get the correct weight of the fish. I have had fish mounted before, but these people are very misleading. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!! The rep at the dock was a complete con- artist. They even told us we could not take the fish meat because it would ruin the mount. We didn’t know any better so we agreed to leave the meat. Little did we know they probably sold it at the fish market took their cut on ripping off an American and then went about their day. Atlantic taxidermy is affiliated with Grey taxidermy so be aware of them as well . There reviews are just as bad. When we contacted the company for a refund they refused. There complete scam is to take money upfront in hopes no one ever goes forward with the actual mount. Company made 950 dollars to measure the fish then lie and mislead us. Never again will read the reviews first before trusting any business again. Take a look at all there bad reviews pretty same story. Place needs shut down for fraud

Complete scam. Rep on the dock said it would be a real mount. Not the case at all charges to clean the fish then sold the fish meat on the market. Got back to the US only to find out company had hidden fees and outrageous shipping fees. Take a look at all the company reviews. All say the say story. This company is a complete scam. They make their business on getting the down deposit in hopes no one ever calls them back. Owner is a real piece of work. Wish I could leave negative stars.

Don`t use Atlantic Taxidermy at any location. Especially any Mexico locations. Be aware of all the taxidermy reps. After I made the deposit on a Marlin. 890.00 out the window. They called two weeks later and wanted the additional 890.00 up front plus a thousand for shipping and the fish would not be done for 4 months. They said I could pay a portion of the second installment but the fish would not be done for 8 to 10 months. Who does business like this. Turn and run.
