If I could give them a 0, I would. They used to be good, but now they are terrible with no customer service! Complete bait and switch company. They are not transparent about their fees. If you happen to speak to someone who claims to be a Manager named Nelson, you will find an unprofessional and incompetent person. The company has really gone downhill. I would advise avoiding them at all costs!

I called at 7 am after not having water for 5 hours. They called me and said the technician would come between 2-4. He got here around 4:15. He reeked of marijuana which should have been my first red flag. He then took a look at my shower head and left it and said that I needed to replace the entire valve (which is over 1,000$). He was not rude or condescending but I absolutely feel taken advantage as I am I young widow that lives alone. He told me there was no way possible he could pull out what he needed to and he needed to do a work up of everything needing to be done. He also said my toilet was so outdated and needed a new one (my house was built in 2017). I was in contact with another plumber who told me he would come fix it. (After suggesting a part that David Gordon had never heard of) When he showed up he said the plumber had broken the valve and thats why it wouldnt come off. He fixed that and my toilet for 1/3 of the price of the diagnostic charge I had to pay this company. Never again. I will be calling my credit card as a manager or supervisor has yet to call me back.

Worst customer service I have experienced. The first time when I used them for a cleaning they sent someone who tried harder to sell me a new system when mine was working fine then to clean it properly. Then it took forever to get a supervisor to call me back. I had a thermostat that was covered under warranty. Which they dont tell you that the warranty only covers the part not the almost 300 dollars to install. They call to schedule and the service tech was very nice and prompt but the company had ordered and gave him the wrong thermostat to put in so here i am with a lost day of work and now they have to order a new one and come back i call x2 for a supervisor and no one bothers to call back. Total disgard to my time and poor customer service to not return a phone call for a repeat issue.

Today Rickey the tech came to my home for my 6 month maintenance checkup, as part of my service contract. He arrived early.. introduced himself and went right to work inspecting the AC unit . He performed all tests and cleaning. He was informative and explained the new features and services of the company . What a pleasure to have Rickey as my tech. Air American should be happy to have him. Anthony Madera the tech came to my home as part of my routine service contract. He arrived on time. He was courteous introduced himself and went right to work. He was able to locate a potential problem and quickly fixed it so I would have uninterrupted service with my air conditioning unit. I'm very pleased with Anthony. He is a valued employee and speaks to the professionalism and quality of air America. Keep up the good work. Steve from Air America responded quickly to my call for service. Once he arrived he trouble shot my ac system and quickly found a blown fuse. Changed them fast and then checked my entire system to make sure all was functioning correctly. What a terrific guy he is. He was friendly and very good at his job. Thanks very much!!
