AVOID! Wish I had read the 'real' reviews. I spoke to the manager, Josie, to get an estimate which were crazy high & also didn't make sense. When I asked to her to clarify something, she became extremely hostile stating; 'You have no right to ask me about pricing. Would you dare ask Louis Vuitton how much they charge!" I'm not sure how they can compare themselves to Louis Vuitton?? But yes, Louis Vuitton would let you ask what their prices are, and would reply politely. If this is any indication of how a project with them would go.. I'd stay far away.

We hired Axe construction out of Pompano in December 2022 to remodel our master bathroom, add a separate linen closet and reconfigure our master closet. The job was completed this weekend and we wanted to strongly recommend their services. This was our 4th major home renovation in the last three years (a new kitchen, floor tiles replaced carpeting and we remodeled our guest bathroom) and we can say with some confidence that Axe Construction was the best among the four contractors we used for these various projects. Ultimately, your experience will depend on the quality of the people they employ. They pretty much use their own workers as opposed to outside contractors. This gives Axe Construction more control of when workers actually show up and the quality of their work. What we found was when Axe said their workers would show up, they did, and their workers were neat, skilled in what they do (they use licensed plumbers and electricians) and for other tasks, their carpenters and tiling people were experienced and knew what they were doing. One common element that was shared by all their workers was a desire to please the customer. The group of people who came to our house, all from Brazil, were honest, hard working and friendly. We always felt comfortable welcoming them to our house. The workers barely took anytime off to eat during the day and they were willing to work long hours and even on weekends when necessary to get the job completed in a timely manner. I might add that overseeing the job was Josie, the head of Axe, who has a great talent for design work. Axe has a showroom where you can see the products you will be buying and Josie will help guide you in terms of making good decisions about products that go into your project and the color scheme. Josie has a keen sense of color combinations that we were unable to see ourselves. One surprising aspect of their work is they send a house cleaner to your home to clean up the inevitable mess that results from the type of work they do. This was very much appreciated. Many of our neighbors have stopped by to look at the results of the renovation and they all, to a person, were greatly impressed. Their work is as good as you'll find anywhere.
