This company is managed by a family and they will steal your deposits. They will lie and make up any reason to keep it all. Really, they don't care that you know they are lying. I've kept this to myself and periodically shake my head, no more. Hopefully someone sees this and save themselves.
If you want to take a chance on them, plan to live out your deposit money. Because you will NOT get it back.
From the very beginning you will feel a little off by their procedures; especially the fact that new tenants move in the same day the old one moves out. They don't clean or fix anything before you move in. They promise to come back and do it later. I lived with the issue because my problem was small. Also, the key is usually brought to you at the property in the middle of the night by one of the owners posing as a worker. They own these properties but says that "the owner this, "the owner that". Run a search on homeowners for any property you want to rent from them and ask to meet the owner.
I am not some upset tenant venting. This review is to help protect future tenants.
Protect yourself from the beginning.
Though they steal your money, they are not all bad.
They do fix problem with their houses and responds quickly when contacted. They also speak to you like they are nice people.
When you are moving out, DO NOT believe anything they promise you, such as "help us find and tenant" "agree to show the property", and we will give you the deposit back.
LIES. I cannot stress it enough. Lies.
They will make up charges to total up to your entire deposit. The least they could do is make it look plausible and at least charge a little less or something. NO, they made up charges for the entire deposits.
Remember, BJW = No Security Deposit back
It doesn't matter what they promise you, they will do whatever they have to get you to pay the deposit and then steal your hard earned money.
Don't think being the perfect tenant is going to protect you, tried that. Didn't work.
I promise you that regardless of how nice you feel that they are being, something will be bothering you about them in the back of your head until you move out. Then you will be like "I knew it". "I knew something was wrong".
