Went in and bought a bed on a Wendsday from Michael Marrapese at the Pinellas Park FL location.Was Told that we could come in Saturday to pick it up. We bought a set that was on clearance, but were assured that the bed was instock and that we had nothing to worry about.
Showed up on Saturday to no bed. Already had gotten rid of our old one. Another associate Pam explained that Mike didn't review the clearance report and that we couldn't get the bed we paid for. Didn't receive one call prior to showing up to recitfy they situation . They had a show room full of beds they couldn't sell, or aren't telling you they can't sell. Mike made the sale to make the sale, confirmed by Pam.
Now we have to wait 7 to 10 business days to get our refund.
Not having a bed to sleep on because we have our money tied up in the refund. Mattress One did nothing to compensate us. Offered a subpar replacement to try to cover there butts. They tried to get me to take possession of a bed that I couldn't ever test. They do this because once you take possession of product they no longer give you your money back, just offer store credit.
They have been involved in many lawsuits in the last few years regarding refunds and product. Do your research!
We are patiently waiting for our refund that might never come.
Horrible experience.
****Update 3/1/17******
Received refund after calling everyday with the answer " there's nothing in the system". District manager Jake claims he had not been notified, but witnessed in store associate call and talk to him the day it happened.
Glad to have my money back but will never deal with this company again.

mattress one is a good company for many reasons. we found that we got a good deal on our mattress but what really surprised us was how honest and helpful the salesman was. he told us to stay away from the cheap mattresses and we understood the benefits very well from how he explained it to us. THIS is how a sales experience should be.
