Sir Galloway Dry Cleaners

Took my pair of $200 jeans (purchased for a gift) which I hadn't realized were raw edged to be hemmed. Tags were still on. Picked them up..great hem BUT Tags were all gone. Told it was company policy to remove Tags prior to ironing so they could be worn immediately. C'mon. No woman in So Fla wears brand new jeans in the Summer. without washing them first. So I paid them $20 to turn my $200 gift into something that looks like it came from Goodwill!! Manager didn't return my call..I had to chase him down. He didn't even offer to return my $$. Not terribly pleased is an understatement.

Do not use this business for any tailoring. My wife brought in a skirt and linen dress for some modifications and the owner took the pieces and let us know she would call in a week once she confirmed a price with the tailor. We did not receive a call and when we were able to speak with the manager we were informed the tailoring had already been done at a charge of almost $100. We did not confirm that we wanted to have any work done at that price, this is an unethical business practice as the customer should be aware of the price prior to any service. On top of the lack of ethics here the tailoring was awful, the skirt was butchered and can no longer be worn. Terrible experience, bad business ethics and a poor product.

It upsets me to see that the Sir Galloway truck takes up a prime space in the parking lot for small businesses with the sole intent of advertising their service. They park there truck and NEVER MOVE IT from the prime area which directly effects at least three businesses. I will not use the cleaner for this reason. The Sir Galloway management should be more considerate. The landlord for this property take action

I would give them one star, but their cleaning is exceptionally good. Their customer service is another story. I had to go to a viewing and needed some pants cleaned and pressed. I called to see if they could have it done by 6:00 p.m. I called in the morning five times and no one ever answered. I left voicemail and no one bothered to even call me back. I guess business is that good you can afford to blow off customers.
