The mental health department here is a joke. I transferred from the VA in Ann Arbor where I made significant progress with the help of my mental health counselor there. After moving here, I've had to deal with the rude, uncaring staff that's only focused on getting you off medication even after previous, better qualified professionals found a balanced medicinal approach that worked for me. They talk down on you, make you feel like what you've been experiencing isn't real and make you feel like you're wasting their time. I've regressed on so much progress made in Michigan since being under their care. I'm about to start paying for help on the private sector because I can't handle the horrible way Crittendon has treated me.
