If I could give zero stars, I would. I wrote them a check for $2000, which was for a deposit generator installation. They never showed up and they didn't return phone calls or emails. It is theft, robbery, larceny, or whatever you want to call it. They should go to jail.

Full disclosure, I am not a customer but I am the wife of a former employee. This company is not financially responsible. My husband had to leave due to non payment of his paycheck and broken payroll promises. He was given many excuses as to why he wasn't getting paid on time and then why the check never was given at the end. He still has not been paid over a month later. A company that can not pay their employees/former employees is no company I would ever recommend. After my husband's separation we later discovered many other faults in payments/services to customers and contractors. All statements can be proven as facts. He is owed 2 payc and a day of pay. One check is owed over a month long. Mr Norwood threatened us about my reviews and when we didn't comply he filed a false police report on my husband. We are a single income household due to my disability and this man's actions caused us and our children a huge financial hardship. Do lots of research on this company before doing business with them.

I handed Michael Norwood of Boardwalk Generator a deposit check in the amount of $6,500 for the purchase and installation of a 24Kw generator. He did not deliver by the agreed date, or 3 subsequent dates. He wrote on the contract that I get a refund if he does not deliver. The excuse was always FPL's fault. No refund. Doesn't return calls or show up once he gets your money.I am not the only victim.Per BBB of NWF; "Boardwalk Generator Service has been sent a pattern of complaint notice as well as a notice for loss of accreditation due to not responding to arbitration"

I have been trying to get Aux. Power to provide me with a service plan for my new generator and hook up the wifi for 2 weeks and they told me my generator (which they installed) wasn't wifi capable and I have yet to get a quote. I called Boardwalk Generator this morning and by noon they were at my house and spent 2.5 hours getting my wifi hooked up on my generator and a maintenance plan in place. The two men who came out went above and beyond any expectations and I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is buying a generator or is looking for a maintenance plan.
