        Took my Ryobi string trimmer in for repair. Asked to be called back and given an estimate for repair. When I received a call I was told it would be $130 and that they already repaired it. When I questioned why I wasn't given an estimate, they explained that there's a sign in the store that says they can fix repairs under $150 without giving you an estimate. (Not a good deal for me. A new trimmer is only $179.) BE FOREWARNED - NO ESTIMATES GIVEN IF REPAIR IS UNDER $150.

      We have a sign clearly posted that if you want an estimate the is a $60 to $80 deposit other wise we will just fix it if its an hour labor or less plus parts you agreed to that when you dropped it off... I don't want your money if I cant repair it for a fair price and I'm the only shop left that doesn't charge a deposit when you drop off.
