Metro Diner

The reason I only gave it three stars is because of the following reason. The time before last when I was there I ordered the fish. Funny waitress told the manager that I wanted more fish but not going to pay for it. Pretty bad when you have an issue for the waitress first time you visit there. Now 6 days ago I had a young lady wait on me she was fantastic she was new there but she knew her stuff. Very sweet oh, what I go back again hum I wonder.

This place is si cute. You'd never know it was right off of a busy intersection. Jordan was my server and he was delightful. The decor is cute, not too over done. The menu prices are comparable to other restaurants, maybe a little pricier than I expected but the food was tasty & very well portioned. I would return. Update: this location is now closed.

Ordered shrimp and grits for 2 people in our party. Food was not hot at all. Had decent flavor but not hot. And can Larry, please find a new career. His service left much to be desired. I really wanted to move to a new section. The surrounding servers seemed to enjoy their jobs. He arrived at our table, didn't introduce himself, just stood there. No hello, good afternoon. Nothing. Flat affect. His use of snarky comments is probably funny to some but I found him to be disrespectful and rude. This was my first and absolutely last time visiting Metro Diner. I dont care how many raving reviews it has received. In retrospect, we should have gone to First Watch as initially planned.
