Club Wyndham Panama City Beach

The fire alarm never stops going off. Police are constantly coming over here. This building has had a problem with their parking garage fire alarm lighting up the entire neighborhood for months now and has chosen not to fix it. It blared from 4AM to past 6AM today 4/11/2024. Front desk woman had a poor attitude about it to add insult to injury.

My poor rating of this resort has little to do with the property or amenities. Wyndham is notorious for high pressure sales pitches. They basically hold new privileges ransom. If you do not attend an information session you lose out. Currently the new perk is to have the ability to use extra points used-at a number of other properties in PCB or wherever you happen to be staying. A checkbox needs to get checked The staff has called us literally every single day of our vacation to get us to attend a meeting. The promise is an hour, but thats a fantasy. Why, if this new opportunity is due any owner, are we required to attend. Why its because you need x number of points and they will gladly sell you more.. Its more of the same game. We paid far too much for the number of points we own, to sell them back. It is pennies on the dollar. I see that if we have to come back here to use extra points we will simply need to reject calls. Noteworthy details: Rooms are nice; fewer and fewer kitchen supplies; pool is quite noisy with music. It is a rather inconvenient parking situation- park across street, ( if you dont park on third floor you must also take an elevator up or down to arrive on third floor) once at 3 you must roll baggage cart across skyway, down another elevator, up or down elevator..to room. Just saying.
