By far the worst doctor visit I've ever had. I went in with a terrible case of strep in hopes of getting amoxicillin and a rocephin shot to make me feel better. Not only did they give me a crazy antibiotic that wasn't covered by my insurance and didn't help one bit, the doctor opened the door as a nurse was administering the shot.... The doctor then exclaimed, "Sorry, I hate shots!" and shut the door.... Incredibly unprofessional.

We took our 2 year old for earache while on vacation. Super friendly and helpful. The doctor was great with him and the receptionist was very helpful!

I used the Beach Bay Walk-In Clinic for the first time this past Monday, 03/03/2014. I was having symptoms of a UTI and home treatment was not helping so I decided to be seen by a doctor. I just moved to the beach and don't have a regular physician yet so I just chose the clinic closest to me. I was really happy with my experience. I was in and out of the office within an hour, they took my insurance, the staff was pleasant and friendly, and the doctor gave me some good information and made sure the antibiotics she prescribed were safe for me to take while breastfeeding. They made sure to let me know that if I didn't see improvement within 2 days, I should come back in. It was a great experience, and I planned to post a good review soon but what really sold me is the call I just received. It was Donna from Bay Walk-In, checking on me to make sure I was seeing improvement and reminding me to finish the antibiotics, even if I felt better. I have never, in all my years of being seen by a doctor, had anyone initiate a call to check on me after being seen. I came straight here to post my review and let everyone know how impressed I was by this small but significant action. Should the need arise, I will be going back.

STAY AWAY from this place! Absolutely WORTHLESS. I could have driven to Pensacola and been seen by a Doctor in the time i waited for this nurse to offer me ibuprofen.. "certified minority business". Too bad they treat minorities like crap! Showed up around 11am and said "I need to talk to a doctor about a referral for surgery". "No problem" she said "fill these out". FOUR HOURS LATER. After every single person that walked in the door after me had been seen. I get to walk back and talk to... a doctor? NO, a (female) nurse practitioner, which i have no problem with. Except she can't diagnose the problem, or write scripts or even look at the underlying issue. After getting my envelope(?) I asked the lady at the front counter "I thought I was going to get to talk with the doctor?" to which she replied "You didn't say that you wanted to talk to a doctor?.WHAT?!?!?! That's exactly what I said I wanted FOUR HOURS AGO!!!!! Four hours. FOUR hours with NO bathroom, NO water or drinks of any type, no nothing. Just the lady at the front counter's stories about her time at the "salty goat" or whatever. That's pretty brutal, making people wait this amount of time for NOTHING! Why is the lady at the front desk so rude and snooty (yes, snooty. go with that)?? Seriously, go to Gulf Coast Medical Center. I could have WALKED there and back by the time Bay walk-in even scanned my card.. Now i have a huge (spider bite?) on the back of my neck. If only there was a place I could walk-in and be seen by a medical professional in a reasonable amount of time... Somebody should invent that
