We moved (PCS) in to a new home in Panama city Florida. Exciting new place, new home, great neighborhood and a convenient location. All that joy came crashing down when we hired Lowes in Panama City to install our fence. Lowes hired a Mark Johnson Enterprise to install the fence. The owner and his wife gave the job to their only employee with the help of their niece and a 12-14 year old boy to do the work. The owner and his wife had plans so they couldn’t do the install. Also, they said it was their last job with Lowes. Lowes hired a new contractor to cover this area. The Mark Jackson crew installed the fence and it looked great! Until one day, Our area reached 59 mph wind and destroyed 40% of the fence. The fence was supposed to withstand 125 mph plus…. It did not. We filed a claim and the insurance rep performed an investigation into the matter. He found that the holes were not 3feet deep as they claimed. It was very little concrete supporting the post. The contractor basically installed it for looks and no quality. We filed complaints and Lowes has been giving us the run around. It has been 3 MONTHS! and we are still dealing with Lowes and our fence. It is embarrassing to us and our neighbors to see and feel this horrific sight and experiences. They city even fine us for the way our fence looks. It has been an exhausting experience and if Mark Johnson did the job right the first time, we wouldn’t have to suffer. It is clear why Lowes chose another contractor. If anyone wants to see the work for themselves, drive down to Bridge Harbor Panama City and take a look for yourself. Take all the photos you want. You can’t miss it. To end this, WE DO NOT RECOMMEND MARK JOHNSON ENTERPRISE AND LOWES.
