    PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE WORKING WITH COASTAL PLUMBING OF SOUTHWEST FL, LLC. I purchased a vanity from Lowe's and contracted with them to have Coastal Plumbing of Southwest FL, LLC, provide a quote for how much it would cost for Coastal Plumbing to install it. Coastal Plumbing's receptionist, Hannah Niles, called and left a voicemail saying that she could send someone out to measure between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. on a recent Friday afternoon, but I didn't confirm I was available. The company still sent the person, who wasn't able to complete the estimate because I wasn't available for him to do so. Hannah then left another voicemail about sending a person out, and I called and left a voicemail telling her that I wasn't available because I was traveling that day. She still sent the person, but I was able to be there because of a flight change, so he was able to do the estimate. This was on April 1. After not hearing back from Lowe's after a week or so, I called to ask if they had heard from Coastal Plumbing. They hadn't, and said it's strange that Coastal Plumbing hadn't provided the estimate yet. I called the guy who did the measurement -- he was a nice guy who did the estimate quickly and answered my questions thoughtfully -- and he said he had submitted his work to the office. He was unable to get in touch with anyone in the office to get more information about when Coastal Plumbing would submit my estimate to Lowe's. I called Hannah several times but never heard back regarding the estimate. I called Lowe's multiple times, and they couldn't get a straight answer from Coastal Plumbing. After about 2 1/2 weeks, I went to Lowe's and asked for a refund, which they provided. My handyman then installed the vanity for about $350, which is probably much cheaper than what Coastal Plumbing would've charged. The whole experience -- an inability to get a properly scheduled appointment from Hannah and Coastal Plumbing's inability to get an estimate to Lowe's -- seemed like a sick April Fool's Day joke. I would recommend looking elsewhere if you're looking for good customer service.

    My wife and I purchased 3 new toilets from Lowes shortly after arriving in Florida last year. All 3 of the toilets are still under warranty because our purchase was less than 12 months ago. However, 2 of the toilets had begun leaking at the flapper valve. So, I called Lowes, and they promptly opened a work order for Coastal Plumbing to respond. Lowes advised that I should receive a call from the plumbers within 24-hours. Much to my surprise, Eric from Coastal Plumbing was at our house less than 2 hours later! Eric verified that the flapper valves were leaking and need to be replaced. Because the flapper valves our toilets use must be ordered, we will need to wait a few more days for the actual repair. However, I was so pleased with Eric's rapid response that I called Coastal Plumbing and spoke to Britney. Britney informed me that Coastal Plumbing is ordering the needed parts, and will let me know when they arrive. Overall, this was a pretty amazing experience. Coastal Plumbing definitely has customer service down to a science! Service: Toilet repair

    I purchased my toilets from Lowes and they coordinated the install with Coastal Plumbing of Southwest Florida. From the very start I was pleased with this company. Because of my job I was only able to have an install completed on a weekend/holiday. They made sure it happened! When one of my brand new toilets started leaking about a week and a half after the install, I called again and they remembered my need for weekend work only, or a holiday. Someone actually came out to my house on Labor Day to make this repair!!! This is definitely a company I trust, would recommend, and would go to again for plumbing needs. They are amazing in customer service, quality, and response times.
