Outback Steakhouse

Ordered a dinner entree chicken Caesar for $17.00 and barely got any chicken. A cup of soup was bare.

The food has not been good the last two times I have eaten there. Steak WAY overdone. Coconut shrimp greasy. Too bad.

We dined at the Outback on April 10, 2024. The restaurant, where we sat, westside back corner, was very cold, unpleasant. I did tell the hostess and she did change the AC settings, which did help. Waitress was very pleasant and took order. No issues. While we were waiting for our entres, a person came to ck on us, we asked for more bread, she said she would be back, but never did. Unfortunately our food was lukewarm. My dinner companion had ribeye with baked potatoe, the butter didn't melt on the potatoe. Steak was cooked to his liking and was tasty... but was not warm enough. I had the lobster tail and filet. The lobster was cold to touch. Mixed vegetable side was over cooked, lukewarm zucchini and uncooked lukewarm carrots. The filet was medium rare, cooked to my liking and tasty, but again lukewarm, the sweet potatoe was also lukewarm. The waitress was very pleasant, asked us 1 minute after getting food if everything was OK, at this point we hadn't started eating. She then left, and she, nor any other waitstaff came over by our table for 20 minutes. We were sitting way back on the Westside of building, there was an 8 top next to us, they got there food the same time as us, these were the only 2 tables occupied in this section. It did take awhile for our food to come out and because the 8 top got their meal the same time, I think our meals were probably waiting to go out too long from the kitchen. When the waitress finally came back we let her know about our food. She apologized, we requested boxes, we both hadn't eaten much of our food. She said she would talk to the manager. She left after about 10 minutes came back, without the boxes and asked if we wanted a complimentary dessert.. no thank you, can we get our boxes. She came back a few minutes later with one box (??) and bill. Unfortunately a disappointing experience.
