I give Dr Cavanaugh 5 stars but the practice only 2. They are CONSTANTLY overbooked and you can never get a hold of them on the phone unless you want to be on hold forever! If you need to make an appointment or talk to someone in the office, Good Luck getting through to them!

Some doctors are good and some are okay, usually get the problems taken care of. But front desk? They get negative 5 stars always so rude and mean, get a new job if you hate it that much. People are calling you stressed out with usually sick kids, being rude and giving no advice doesn't help. Its always call back at 7:30am to get help for a sick kid and even then you dont always get a spot which is fine, they're busy but being rude about it is SO not needed.

My daughter woke up with pink eye this morning, so I called the office at 8am. Phone lines were tied up, and the call did not go through. Finally at 8:30am, I got through and was caller number 26. After waiting on hold, I spoke to the office staff, who told me a nurse would call me back and ask me some questions, then the doctor would send a prescription over to our pharmacy. I never heard from a nurse or doctor for the entire rest of the day. I called Walgreens at the end of the night, and no prescription had been sent. This is not the first time that the nurse has failed to call us back. The office management is extremely disappointing. I’ve read recent reviews that also share my complaints. A new office manager might be needed here. NPCMC, if you claim to be my children’s pediatrician, then actually treat my children when they need their doctor. To promise a return call and prescription and then not follow through is seriously unprofessional. I have been coming to this office since I was a child, and now bring my own children here, and I can safely say I haven’t had this much of an issue receiving medical care for my children until now. I am giving a 3 star review instead of 1 star because my son does see Dr. Weber for a chronic illness, and I always receive a call back regarding prescription refills and well-checks. Dr. Weber is extremely knowledgeable and attentive and remembers previous visits and conversations. We couldn’t be happier with the care she provides to our son. She has single-handedly saved this review. It seems that if you’re not constantly ill (or if your children are not eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine), you get overlooked. Well-children who occasionally need the doctor should be just as important as others with chronic illnesses or those needing vaccinations. After all, what are primary care physicians for? If you promise to provide care for your patients, please ensure that you are, in fact, providing medical care to them and not overlooking them. Do better, NPCMC.

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. My wife on09/08 called to ensure a 90 day supply of medicine for my son who has autism. On 09/11 she went to have it filled and the pharmacy said it was never sent. So she called the this office and a receptionist said that a message will be sent for a doctor to sign off on the rx for it to be filled. So on 09/12, she goes back to the pharmacy and they told her it was never sent. Around 10:00A.M. she calls this office and was told a message is being sent to a doctor. After two hours ,my wife calls this office and a receptionist on 09/12 around 12:30P.M. laughs at my wife and jokes that there's no doctor present. I'll be calling CMS to file a formal grievance and to obtain a new P.C.P. for my son. I will be getting in touch with this place's Office Director in order to seek accountability your over who assured us that Rx was sent and for whomever assured us that a doctor was being reached on 09/11& 09/12. My son is uncomfortable and is asking about his medicine and is asking if something is wrong. He is 7 and no child with autism should have to ask these questions. The doctor's office and it's staff have a duty of care , one in which they have lid about to us for the past 4 days.
