Grace's Place Bagels & Deli

Affordable with Class After reading some of the bad reviews of this place, I just had to write & express a difference of opinion. My service was great and my food was excellent. Had the Bistro BLT w/potato salad. It was simple yet very well thought out. The praline bacon, arugula, fried green tomatoes, & dijon aioli go so well together, it surprises. The potato salad was very fresh yet had a bit a kick, simple ingredients that flow wildly. Friendly & I thought the decor was fresh & inviting. Keep it up, the nation needs more places like Graces. I would eat here all the time...unfortunately, just passing thru on my way back to Vegas...

I used to love this place! My friends and I would go in for big breakfasts, coffee, and the nice diner atmosphere. Since this god awful renovation, the service is non-existing, the menu has been decimated, and the place looks comically bad. You now have to sit in some weird rope-cage room... there's only about 10 tables now, and they cut off the bakery section... absolutely dreadful and embarrassing. I bet they will be out of business before their renovation show even airs on TV.

Due to bad reviews we almost avoided Grace's Place. Thankfully we gave it a chance. It was wonderful. As new residents to Palm Coast we wanted to try all the local restaurants near our new home. It was a busy Saturday morning, but there was still plenty of seating. We were pleasantly greeted and asked where we would like to sit. The dining area was nicely decorated and cozy. Lindsey took our order and promptly returned with hot delicious coffee. Breakfast came quickly and it was just as stated on the menu. The potatoes were perfect and my pancake was large and tasty. The bacon and sausage were quality meats and properly cooked. Eggs were great. I don't know why others had bad experiences at this restaurant, but we fully enjoyed our meal and the service was excellent. The wait staff were well groomed and friendly. We highly recommend this restaurant. It will now be our favorite neighborhood cafe. Can't wait to do lunch. Steve & Jo Clifford

We went for breakfast. Orders were taken, coffee came out 15 minutes later-cold, asked for a fresh cup two times and 20 minutes later received it. The orders were simple but took 40 minutes from the time they were placed to show up. The orders came out wrong; no grits on one and no fruit cup the other. Tables are cleared by hand without use of a dish tub which required multiple inefficient trips. Seating was crowded in the center area. Hostess/waitress was loud,chatty and from another planet. The volume of clientele could not be kept up with by the kitchen staff, it was like a poorly managed fast food restaurant. The potential for a wonderful cafe still exists. Please train your staff and streamline your kitchen.
