Competition is scarce in the area so the gym is really the only player in town other than the new Fitness America. That said the equipment is kept in good shape and they have most of the machines/weights that you need. They lack a few of old school hard core equipment like the military barbell press and donkey calf machines but other than that it's not that bad. It can get quite crowded during peak hours and you will have to wait around for equipment. Best times are early AM (5-9) or late PM (9-11). Cost about 38 bucks a month but i'm not sure what the enrollment fees are. If you're not hardcore and don't care about crowds join up. Nice tail to look at also. If you are hardcore join Fitness America down the street in the Win Dixie plaza. Seems like only serious trainers go there as opposed to the social crowd at LA Fitness.
