The other reviews don't lie. This place really is that awful. Fish filets are not fresh, had to send back and it ruined my appetite. Service is slow and inattentive. If you are thinking about trying this place out- DON'T!! Plus, menu has changed from what is on their website, so do not go off of that.

Well quite the downhill experience. For a seafood specific restaurant they are slacking. Waitress did not know much about seafood...at all. Asked for steamed clams and got oysters. Received steamed clams and they must have been around 4" and they were nasty. Like real NASTY! Sent them back. Calamari was good. Main course was alright but by that time my whole party was unimpressed and over the restaurant.

Can't back up the latest bad reviews. Had a great experience at Carmine's. Kelly was a great server. Food was awesome and came out timely. Would definitely go back again.

This was disappointing. I saw some bad reviews, but had high hopes anyway. My mistake. They didn't have any lobster tail, which as a seafood restaurant kinda shocked me. I however chocked that up to it being a Wednesday evening, definitely not a busy day. The busyness leads me to my next point - The food came out dry and lukewarm. Telltale signs of heat lamps. The foot has obviously sat, and by the time it got to us it was barely warm at all, and was very dried out. Which, again, surprised me because they were slow. The food itself was also expensive. I am fine paying for good food, but there comes a point of feeling ripped off. I pay $12 extra for shrimp (because there is no lobster) with a steak, and am given 3 shrimp? That's a little bit expensive for my taste. All that aside our waitress Laura was great. I don't blame her for any of these problems. As of now, I have zero plans to return.
