Clearwater Lake Recreation

Water was great. Lake entrance was sand for a ways out. Open picnic tables. Very family friendly. Brought a lunch and drinks. No alcohol or dogs allowed in day area.

Very quiet Super quaint No electricity Great for recharging away from city and technology Unfortunately over night camping has gone up 20 dollars from last year so sad cause now it's not affordable enough to go as often But is worth atleast a day visit walk the trails swim in the water or just relax on the river bank absolutely engulfed in mother nature

This was an awesome place to camp with spacious campsites. They allOn my way! With a grill and fire pit setup and bathrooms in close proximity. Bathrooms are equipped with hot showers and dishwashing station. Campsites also have water spigots for drinking water. This is considered bear country so all trash cans come bear proof and dogs must be leashed. The campsite host was friendly and hospitable. Sat night got a little rowdy with young people in a neighboring campsite but most were older quiet campers. Will definitely come back

Love this little swimming hole. It's always peaceful and quiet, never too many people. Often there won't be any other people and we'll have the beach completely to ourselves. Water is crystal clear and a comfortable temperature. The only negative is that the yellow flies are vicious out there! Update- prices went up last year(2022), and the day use/swimming area closes at 3:30 pm now. That's too early!!!! This pushes locals out from being able to come in the afternoon and enjoy the late afternoon and early evenings. There's still plenty of daylight after that time during the warm season. I can't come as often as I'd like now because of the shorter hours. Nor can I bring my kids out right after school because the gate will already be closed! I won't be buying a seasonal pass again since the price of that went way up as well.
