Orlando Youth Advocate Program

As a former employee and now returning employee, I couldnt think of a better place to work. I have known Carmen Z our supervisor and clinical director for almost 3 years when she took me a newly graduated MHC intern and helped me find my way in this career path. YAP is lucky to have such a great leader and mentor. She is such a influence to the program and leads by example. The work we do at YAP is special and she helps us incision , understand and act in the YAP way, showing understand, compassion, being positive with our interactions. I have seen what YAP can do for our youth in need of mental health services and that is what its all about. So thank you to YAP for educating and listening to not only your clients but staff. They therapeutic out come of YAP FL BH services ensures that our children and adolescents are safe and Recieve if the therapy that they need. I wouldnt want to work any other place. If your looking to be part of a team that cares think of joining YAP. And if you have a child or adolescent in need also consider our services.

YAP is fantastic and so are Carmen and Heidy. They quickly coordinated services for weekly counseling to help him have more awareness of his behavioral issues, taught him how to understand his emotions and how to properly process, behave and communicate what was bothering him that was making him act out. I had gone to fancy Pediatricians, expensive offices in Winter Park and no one had been able to get through as this team did. They are very careening and quickly put together a great team of support. The change in my son has been life changing for him as well as our entire family dynamics.
