Sunrun Solar

Nothing but headaches from the beginning. Please safe yourselves headaches and go with another solar company. Ive been waiting for them to call me about a concern I have for a whole month. Ive called each week because they say it takes 3-7 days to get contacted by them. Guess what Im still waiting 4 weeks later. Dont have any way of getting someone else. Very frustrating because representatives are no help at all.

This started off as such a nice experience and now it is nothing but one issue after another. I thought using Sunrun through Costco was a safe move but I was so wrong. The panels are up in my roof but I have giant holes in my wall from them an no update of when it will be fixed or when the inspection will be done so I can finally use my system. They have my signed contract so they just do care anymore. I am writing this because I am tired of calling and texting all of them to get the job done. I hope this helps others in making a solar choice. I will update this post if and when they resolve these issues.

I can only share my experience. Sales rep Steve Wilson made the first visit. Everything was explained up front and all questions answered. We wanted to replace the shingles first. We were going through insurance, so Sunrun was patient but kept in touch. Sunrun had Skylight Roofing give us a quote on the shingles and roof repair and it turned out to not only be the best quote, but Skylight Roofing was beyond amazing, true professionals and really nice workers. Steve helped coordinate all this along with other members of the Sunrun team. I could reach out to Steve via text or phone at any point, 7 days a week, and his customer service was fabulous and responsive. Another coordinator Marco Bandieramonte-Shaw should also be commended along with the entire team including installers. I mean they took care of everything, permitting, EVERYTHING! So far I am using the app to track how much energy the panels are producing and so far so good and this is in February! Cant wait to see what happens when the days are longer and the sun is more consistent. Personally I would not hesitate recommending my experience with Sunrun to anyone!
