Giovanny's Shoe Repair

I just witnessed melt down by a total Karen today inside the shop. Not sure why any mentally stable adult would find it acceptable to act out that way.

The zipper broke on my favorite bag, and I was worried the bag was ruined for use, but the rest of the bag was in great shape. The color of the zipper is unique and hard to match, but Giovannys was able to not only replace the zipper but also reattach the original branded zipper pull. I also had a snap inside that had pulled off that they also reattached as a bonus. Purse works good as new!

I recently had a pair of Redwing 877 re-soled at Giovannys and after picking them up from being serviced I feel the need to leave a five star review. I have owned a few pairs of 877s over the years and had some of them re-soled at different places. I stay away from sending them back to Redwing as the turnaround time is far too long and the price is a bit steep. I did it once and found it to be underwhelming. Because of this, I prefer a local repair shop that does the re-sole in house. I was pleased to find Giovannys after some searching, as a previous shop had shut down. Giovannys is the type of place you would expect it to be, with the charm and character of an old time cobbler shop. I was a walk-in customer, and they had the replacement Vibram soles for my boots on hand, and my boots were taken in that day. The turnaround was a week flat and the pricing was spot on what I expected. I paid in advance and entrusted my boots to them. Upon pickup the re-sole was done above standard, with care and detail, and the boots had been given an overall oil treatment as well. Im very glad to have found Giovannys and am looking forward to taking in other boots I have, and eventually, this pair again, when the time comes.
