Breakthrough Trauma Therapy, LLC is a group private practice that specializes in trauma recovery by providing trauma focused online therapy to Florida residents. Our mission is to help our client’s overcome mental health problems caused by direct or indirect trauma-based events. The licensed mental health professional’s primary responsibility is to provide direct care to patients with a trauma history. Patients will present with traumas such as, but not limited to: Mental & Emotional Abuse Sexual & Physical Abuse Childhood Abuse & Neglect Domestic Violence Traumatic Loss Witness to Violence Motor Accidents Narcissistic Abuse Medical & Health Trauma Life threatening illness or injury

Symptoms that our patients often experience are 1) Intrusions, such as unwanted upsetting memories, nightmares, and flashbacks; 2) Avoidance of thoughts, feelings, and external reminders associated with the trauma; 3) Negative alterations in cognitions and mood, such as isolation, depression, memory problems, and excessive guilt, shame, or self-blame; 4) Alterations in arousal and reactivity, such as irritability, anger, aggression, risky behaviors, hypervigilance, and problems sleeping.
