New Punjab Indian Restaurant

Food and service is excellent. Best idian food for the price in Orlando. My only complaint is the place always smells like off brand bathroom cleaner.

Been my favorite Indian restaurant in Orlando for a while but the quality seems to be going down off late and there is significant competition around. Hope the owners hire some good support staff to enable them to maintain high standards.

Food is okay - 3.5 stars. Not amazing, but not bad. I deducted stars for service. In the beginning, service was fine. Not out of this world amazing, but passable for a typical Indian restaurant. What caused me to deduct stars and soured our experience was the check-out process. When we received our check, there was a QR code to check-out virtually, and being in 2023, I used the QR code to check-out. Why else would a restaurant have a QR code on their checks if they do not want people to use them to check-out? Well, I finished paying, and as were gathering our stuff to leave, one of the ladies came up to our table (essentially blocking us from leaving), and stood at the table with a tablet/check out machine thing in her hand. For 5 or so minutes she just stood there in silence, didnt say a word, didnt ask any questions. The whole time Im just thinking whats going on? Did they not like our tip? We gave 20%.and I know the payment went through because I got the virtual receipt. At this point, her silence is making me frustrated. Why are you blocking customers that have paid from leaving? If you are confused about something, why dont you ask a question? Finally she asked did you already pay? I said yes, I used the QR code on the check. She said thats why I cant find it here. Im thinking no effing duh??? So this whole time you thought we were dining and dashing? Why couldnt you just ask us instead of trying to embarrass us by keeping us in a gridlock? Why even have a QR code for online check-out if you will not confirm payment from there before confronting customers? Anyway, after that fiasco we finally were able to able to leave. My originally good impression of them fell to the ground.

Everything was Amazing! Chicken Masala 10/10 5 stars! Naan bread was perfect! Highly recommended
