Have worked with Ameripro many times for home inspections. The Ameripro team is professional and thorough and I get reports returned in a timely fashion.

UPDATE: They came to do an inspection to see if I qualified for a refund. During this inspection he insisted on taking photos of my windows and wanted me to sign a release. I did not sign a release but had contractors come look at my windows. My windows have active leaks. All three contractors were adamant that any inspector would realize this issue. Severally disappointed as I used them in the past. Clearly service has gone down hill and I would recommend literally any other company. Inspector did not catch that the house has ZERO fire alarms. This is against Florida state laws. Home inspector also failed to catch: Two broken ceiling fans, patio door does not lock, loose piece of wood on stairs that is a safety hazard, broken cabinet, no hot water in the downstairs bath, broken drains, & more. It will cost me a ton of money to fix his mistakes. He is clearly incompetent. I am more than happy to send him the Florida law and the HUD inspection checklist because he clearly does not know it! Company is making me jump through hoops instead of refunding money to fix what he did not catch.

For the record, I did not hire this company. I am selling my home and upon entering a contract, Ameripro was hired by the buyer to do the home inspection. When I returned home after the inspection was performed my AC unit was not working. After a closer look I found the coils frozen over. An AC professional came out and assessed that the fan motor was burned out. I got in touch with the inspector (Martin Sloan) and asked what he had done to the AC. He said that he simply turned it off for 20 minutes and then turned it back on. However, when I got home, the thermostat had been on a hold indicating that someone had changed the temperature on the tstat and this had to have been him as he was the only one there. The inspector vehently denied doing anything out of the ordinary to my AC but my AC pro told me the motor could get burned out if the unit was rapidly turned on and off over and over. Too many red flags and now I'm out $1200. I find this to be so overtly sketchy I cannot even begin to explain but therre is nothing i can do about it. No offer was made by them to help remedy the issue. Deny Deny Deny. Will never recommend or hire them.
