The Haunted Road

Went into this experience without trying to judge off of the previous reviews. My s/o suggested we go for date night, on Friday. He purchased the two tickets for each of us, and then purchased the "VIP" tickets for each of us, as well. When we got there we had to wait, which wasn't the problem at all. But then there were vehicles that came way after, gaining entry before us. Even then we still tried to remain patient and hopeful. We finally get to go through. And for what you guys are charging, we would've expected better. At one point, there were some audio issues, where we could no longer hear the performances. On top of that, we did not get the "VIP" experience that was listed in the package.

Very sadly disorganized where so much potential in this setting to be a good haunted scare. Everyone directing traffic and working there should be dressed up for scare factor! Drive through to each setting, which is cool concept, but poorly managed. Definitely dont be the first car as you cant see and the audio over the radio is so poor you cant hear. Absolutely no idea of the story line at all. Ended abruptly and no exit signs in the dark. Save your time and money. Definitely a serious waste.

**Update: the staff reimbursed our tickets. And to respond to their answer below: technical difficulties should not have prevented actors from trying to scare the people in the cars, and trying to fit too many vehicles in each scene should not be considered a technical issue. ** The first time my husband and I went, it was in 2020 and that experience was so great, with the coordination of the cars and the actors running up to your car to scare you. We went last night for opening night, were so excited to go, only to be sorely disappointed! No actors running up to the cars to scare you, one man screaming at the top of his lungs obscenities. They tried to fit too many cars in each section and if you were first or last, you couldn't see very well. We didn't even bother with the walking part of the experience, we just wanted to get out of there. We drove over an hour to be this disappointed.
