Coming back from a trip to Germany, I have to say this place is wonderful and truly authentic german... the schnitzels are superb! The draft beer is served in 0.5L glasses and is magnificent... can’t wait to go back to try the rest of their menu...

So super mixed feelings about this place. Would I go again? No. Never. Was it fun? Yes. Definitely. But for the wrong reasons. =P No one at the restaurant was actually German or spoke German. But I have to admit the whole experience was as authentic as it could get in the US. The service was friendly with a slight German grumpy undertone (service in Germany would be way worse than this). Softdrink refills were limited to 1 (there is nothing like refills in Germany). Half the food and drinks on the menu were not available (but in Germany no one would have apologized for that). The softdrinks were flat - something which is super common in Germany. The music was terrible original German traditional music. There was even a old guy playing even older German songs on an accordion - the performance came with all the lack of motivation as expected from a German musician. The food (which was available) was good tho. And very much identical to a standard German restaurant. Even the bread was German bread. So it's really more of a touristy recreation of an average German restaurant. Including all the negative aspects of original German restaurants. But I don't think that this was intentional. Maybe the "we don't really care about a full menu or overly friendly service" attitude just comes with German cuisine. ;) As you can tell: I'm a German who is not really into German culture. The American friends that I brought along did like it though and would come back. Enjoy guys! ^^

Bread came right out of the cooler and was cold and hard. Sauerbraten just wasn't quite there and the spaetzle was overcooked and tasteless. The apple strudel was nuked beyond all recognition! Terrible representation of German food. ☹☹

Great atmosphere, food and staff. It's like eating a meal at a home in Eichstätt. I loved everything about it!
