Poor response, referrals to attorney is problematic and incorrect. Value is not justified. Information communicated is not consistent. I am very disappointed with the service. The first time I used them went well, however the second and third time were frustrating being referred to attorneys who were inappropriate or who couldn't help me. Cancelling my membership!

Lazy!!!! They are only interested in collecting as many subscriptions as possible. Then they go to stall and delay. They are dishonest and try to make you wait to collect more monthly funds. I had to call constantly just to have my case number reviewed then it took days/weeks to speak to anyone. Run away!!!

I am having a landlord/tenant issue so I signed up for Legalshield. Essentially I asked my landlord to fix 2 issues in my apartment that would've cost less than $20. Instead my landlord decided to raise my rent illegally for a month that was already paid by $95/month. My landlord didn't fix anything that needed to be fixed and then claimed he wanted me gone in a month because I wanted him to fix my issues before I gave him anymore money. My attorney Ms Letitia Wood said she would send a letter to my landlord after I had provided multiple documents. I was advised that she would send me a draft of the letter to review and advise her of changes that needed to be made if anything was incorrect. I received the draft and reviewed it. On the letter my landlord's name wasn't correct, my name was misspelled, information that I never provided that wasn't true or accurate was in the letter, all the references to the documents and their dates of the events weren't correct even though they had the documents that they could've referenced, they added numbers to a statute making it an incorrect statute. I corrected the letter for typos, grammatical errors, wrong landlord name, wrong dates, removed incorrect info, and sent the letter back to the attorney and advised her that she just needs to put the letter that I sent her back on the DSK Law letterhead to mail it. Several hours later I received an email showing me the final draft that DSK Law sent to my landlord. The new letter had the incorrect info added back on the letter, and one of the dates that referenced a document that I had submitted to them was changed back to the wrong date. Maybe I'm being too picky since I am a Veteran with an eye for detail but I don't understand when a lawyer has all the documents to reference which is only 6 or 7 documents for referencing that they can make that many mistakes and then when I correct it they change some of it back to the incorrect info. I will say that whomever wrote my letter doesn't have an attention for detail when I feel it's necessary. I will say they do call me back when I call and request a callback. They do try to rush me off of the phone as fast as they can. I would recommend writing your questions down to make sure you are able to ask everything when you call them because they are in a huge rush. I did almost start laughing last week when my attorney advised me that it seems that my landlord isn't concerned with the law. I thought, "Really, that must be why I got a lawyer in the first place since he is breaking the law." I will alter my review if things improve but for now this is the most honest opinion I can give.
