We are currently building the worlds tallest Slingshot amusement ride at 300 tall and the worlds tallest free standing Free Fall amusement ride at 430 on International Drive in Orlando Fl. The foundations for both attractions were very complex due to the limited space and ground conditions. Working with Fender Marine Construction for the Slingshot foundation we were able to install 30 sheet piles which enabled construction to remain inside the leased area without obstructing public walk ways. The Free Fall tower foundation was extremely challenging. Fender Marine installed 24 pipes which were vibrated 40 into the ground. During the process Fender Marine were able to adapt to changing conditions and ensure that the installation of the pipes continued in a timely manner. Fender Marine had the expertise and equipment to deal with any situation that arose and communicated continuously with the Project Engineer and General Contractor to guarantee the desired result.
