We have been faithful St. Johns home owners insurance carriers since 2008. Always paid our premium promptly and never filed a claim. Just received non-renewal notice today with a reason code of "exposure management." What???? Thanks for your loyalty, St. Johns and you're welcome for the nearly $20,000 you've collected from us over the years for doing absolutely nothing besides sending renewal notices.

My wife and I have been with St. John’s for 5 years. We have never made a claim because we took care of our house and we have never encountered whether that required a claim. On last week I had a small leak in my shed attached to my house. Also, our insurance payment with them went up a percentage higher than expected. We put in a claim to just fix a small part of our shed connected to our home. St. Johns denied our claim as loyal customers. I would advice all real estate agents and professionals to never refer St. John’s to no one!!! They are a terrible company and they do not care about their customers. As a real estate professional , I will never refer this company. CUSTOMERS BEWARE!!!

The Claims department is horrendous. The claims representative kept interrupting and talking over me several times on the phone. I had never had to call them in over a decade but I just needed some general information. today was the only time ever needing to speak tp someone. A decade with an insurance company is just too much time and very expensive at this length of time. to receive that treatment.
