Singed up for a new line. got over charged the first month more than $65 set up fee then second month also over charged from the agreed fix monthly fee. No explanation. Will disconnect my line and find alternative provider. Do not recommend. It is a ripoff company.

AWFUL. This company is the worst and will refuse to let you switch services. Currently, my family and I are attempting to switch to T-Mobile due to the fact our service with ATT is poor in the area we moved to; but they are refusing to let us switch because the balance hasnt been paid off. BUT, T-Mobile has offered to pay it off through rebate but ATT refuses to accept the payment. This company is awful and refuses to do anything to help their customers. Dont go with this company!

My neighbor said ATT was in the neighborhood digging up the lawn to lay down fiber, which is no biggie. However, they did damage my sprinkler (not to mention their guys had decided to litter all over the place), and no one at ATT seems to have any clue what is going on. You can see from my screenshots that the two people didn't help at all, and even logged off the chat before answering my questions. They literally have no way to contact me except maybe my address so it's obvious they're just trying to ignore me.
I even called them with the same result. They just told me "I'll tell my supervisor you're inconvenienced." Even forgot to ask me my phone number and address until I reminded them.

I have a fully paid iphone 5C I bought in 2014. I tried to put a SIM card in it on the Verizon network. The phone is locked by AT&T and they will not unlock the phone claiming my "account is not in good standing". Im confused, because I pay all my bills, and closed my account with AT&T about a year ago with no balances due. I call AT&T and they cannot explain, or give me any details. The rep was nice and says that it's most likely because my old phone number was reassigned and THAT account is not in good standing. She just needs to submit a research request to clear it up...tells me it would take a couple days. The next day I get the same email....phone is lock because my "account is not in good standing". I ask for an explanation and I get no response. I go to AT&T Facebook page to message them...they tell me that they will look into in, then they stop responding. Maybe there is some residual balance due, or maybe it's the new account holder? I don't know, but it's a simple question I can get no answers about. I am filing a complaint with State of Florida...be careful with AT&T.

I used my insurance to get a new phone. I returned my damaged phone to USPS with the label they gave me. A month later, they are charging me for the non-return phone fee of $280. I called them, they tracked it in GA, all done right? Nope! Still charging me because they didn't receive it they say. They said they opened a case for me and a supervisor will be in touch to clear this up. I call several more times wasting an hour of my time each time and no customer service person can handle this. I get three months of waived late fees posted because it could take to get cleared up.. Now they are threatening me to shut my phone off if I don't pay for this phone. They know its in the hands of usps, why are they messing with me? I am done with AT&T! Whoever gave you a two or three star rating is insane!
