I have been here twice. Both times have been less than positive. First time I got the prime rib sandwich, it was very fatty and cold. The second time I got the "special" that was a pulled pork sandwich, a side and a drink. I was asked what side I wanted and I said Mac & Cheese. I was then told I can not have that. I could only have fries or rice. Why dont you tell me that when you post your "special"! The pulled pork was gross, my coworker had large chunks of fat in his sandwich. I gave them a second try, that will be my last visit.

We just bought lunch for 4 people at our dealership. All of the beef brisket was 3/4 fatty chunks and 1/4 of beef. The BBQ beans had the same thing - lots of fatty chunks in the beans. We all threw away the meal... all of the take out order was messy in the bags too. We do not recommend this place. Apparently the new management is not improving the food and service. Also, when we called to speak to a manager we were told that he was not available to speak on the phone.

Red's Ranch is a welcome addition to the ever-changing Orlando BBQ scene. I had the Texas Style beef brisket sandwich. The server noted that the slab brisket had a lean side & a marbled side, and asked which side I preferred; I opted for the lean. He placed a hearty portion on the bun, topping it off with a small amount of BBQ sauce. I picked baked beans as my side. As I ate, I noticed that the bread was very sturdy, holding up very well despite all the additional sauce I added myself. Both the brisket & sauce were very flavorful, although the crispy outside was a little too charred for my taste. The baked beans were another story. There was simply too much sauce, too much sugar, and not enough beans. The sauce was just too overpowering, and there was lots of it. I decided not to finish it...going to have to choose a different side next time. The seating area consisted of mostly bench picnic tables and a few traditional tables with chairs. Everything was clean and organized, although the open area does make it somewhat loud. Overall, I would highly recommend Red's Ranch...definitely one of the better BBQ restaurants in Orlando. If they can hopefully improve on the side items, they just might give 4Rivers a run for their money.

Visited Red's Ranch BBQ on November 18th. The restaurant has been open for maybe 2 weeks? I came in to try them for take-out. The restaurant was VERY clean and tidy, was not very busy, maybe 2 tables with guests (this was on a Saturday night). Waited behind another guest for about 3 minutes then they checked the guest out, then told me they'd be right with me and made me wait about 5-7 minutes while the 3 staff members held an idle conversation then proceeded to help me. They were very nice, but weren't very good at recommending food, etc (I told them I had never been there and would expect them to give me some pointers on what they would recommend, etc). I ended up getting 2 pulled pork sandwiches, when I saw how much they were ($5.99 each for small little things) I opted not to go for any sides or anything else because it was rather pricey. Giving them a "Good" rating because the food was good and the place was clean, but probably won't be back again.
