I had such a lovely time at Jiko with my family! The service, decor, and food was excellent as one would expect from a place that is consistently rated one of the best Disney restaurants.
As for specific recommendations I would highly recommend the Wild Boar and the Duck Confit Flatbread appetizers. Both were incredible and really set the tone for the meals. Now for the entrees; the Filet Mignon was cooked perfectly, tasted great, and came with a side of fancy Mac and Cheese which is hard to beat. My parents had the Lamb Shank and the meat was so tender it fell right off the bone.
I loved it here and I know Ill be back. Its obviously expensive, but if you want to have a really nice dinner I would say give this place a shot.

This has always been considered on of our favorite restaurants on Disney property. Been at least 10 times and food is always top notch and the service matches as well. I am still giving this visit 5 stars because of the goodwill credit it has earned. Our last visit wasnt as good as usual. I got the scallop appetizer, some tea, and the lamb shank. Wife got the butternut squash soup and the filet. My food was excellent. Her butternut squash soup was great. Her steak was a little overdone, and we expect better, but it was still good. The issue was the service. Our waiter was barely around. We both went without drink for a long time (in fact I never got a refill in two hour meal). He also never checked to see if our meals were correct - if he had we could have let him know my wifes steak was cooked incorrectly. The thing is we have come to expect top notch service from Disney, especially with a $300 meal. This time did not live up to the price. We hope this is not a trend at Disney restaurants because we have been noticing this down down tick in service at all Disney restaurants since they reopened from the pandemic. The Disney superior level of service is slowly dying. We will definitely be back but are hopeful our next experience at Jiko will be back to normal.

Amazing food! I had to edit this review because amazing is such a understatement. Every single thing I put in my mouth was brilliant. I even tried all of the dishes my other diners had. There was filet mignon, scallops, wild boar, lamb shank, etc. Even the bread, drinks, and desserts were phenomenal. It may be the best place I've ever eaten and I've done a lot of traveling and eating. Definitely recommend!

This was my first time dining at Jiko and it also had only been opened for 10 days since opening again after being shut down for COVID-19. It definitely moves up on my list of restaurants to dine at in Walt Disney World! Of course, it all started off with bread. Specifically, giraffe bread, aptly named due to the ridges created on top as the bread breaks, and an Egyptian flatbread. My favorite was the giraffe bread, but the real star of the bread service, for me, was the butter. It was butter with goat milk, goat cheese and black sea salt. Delicious! For an appetizer we ordered Braaied Wild Boar Tenderloin. The flavor profile leans more towards tatsing like steak than it does towards tasting like pork; very good. For our entrées I ordered Seafood Tagine and my wife kept it simple with filet mignon. My seafood tagine was explained as having a butter, lemon sauce, but the only flavor that came through for me was the lemon. Still tasty, though, but I would have preferred more of a balance by having some of that mentioned butter flavor. There are also enhancements that can be ordered with your entrée and I chose Bobotie Mac & Cheese. I also enjoyed this dish very much, but it was definitely a lot of food for an "enhancement." So much so, I believe it can stand on its own. The main components that made it for me were the seasoning on the waygu topping and the kachumbari. To finish things off, we had the Kilimanjaro for dessert. It was good. All the ingredients around the mousse itself made it for me. Overall, I had a great experience and I definitely recommend this restaurant.
