I'm half Italian and food here was excellent the one time I was there I had the Chicken Marsala and it was outstanding with (unexpectedly) roast potatoes. The March reviews, particularly Jill's, for whom it is the only review, seems like a plant.

I have wanted to try this place for a few years and finally we decided to give it a shot. My wife and I went there 2 weeks ago on a Thursday before going to see a movie. The Fried Calamari appetizer was decent. But I have yet to have bad fried Calamari. Most things deep fried are hard to mess up. For salads she had the Ceasar and I had the tossed greens. The Ceaser was passable but my tossed greens were horrible. All the greens were wilted and inedible. They didn't even put a full tomato on the salad. . . it was more like squeezed tomato innards. I kept trying to get someones attention to take back my salad but nobody would come to the table. The main course was then served and I told them the salad was horrible and as I didn't touch it please remove it from my bill (they didn't). My main course was the Baked Ziti Sicilian and my wife's was the Shrimp Portofino. My Ziti plate was basically a huge clump of cheese over who knows what. I couldn't detect any eggplant that was supposed to be the #1 ingredient. It was just a trash pile looking mountain of cheese and macaroni. So while I'm mulling over the crapfest on my plate I look up and my wife isn't eating anything. I asked what is wrong and she said her dinner tasted horrible. I said lets switch plates at least the macaroni and cheese on my plate will fill you up. I tried to force down a single shrimp from her Shrimp Portofino and just couldn't do it. It tasted like pure sewer water! Well to say the least I was disappointed. No wait staff ever bothered during the course of the meal to ask how the meal was. When it was obvious we were done (crossed utensils over totally uneaten food) they approached with the bill and didn't even ask if we enjoyed the meal. They just took the plates of food away and gave me the bill. The didn't even ask if we wanted doggie bags, not that I would even consider feeding this to my dogs. $60. Yes, SIXTY dollars for a pure crap dining experience. We didn't order any alcohol either. Maybe that's why we were basically ignored the whole time we were there. Whatever the case I will NEVER eat here again and hope this place soon falls in to the history books of failed restaurants.
