CWS

We ordered windows from CWS. One Frame came scratched, sash damaged and window fogged within a week. We were originally told it would take 8 weeks to fabricate a new window and replace so it was suggested to repair. We are at 7 weeks and we still have a damaged window without resolution. Called CWS to inquire about the status and was told their salespeople don't "deal" with the homeowner and my GC would have to call them. Great choice of words.

UPDATE CWS: Have replaced the affected windows that had leaks in the seals. I have to commend them for standing behind their products. Good job. . I had Italled windows end of 20 ju18. Since that time I have had to have 5 wIindow panes replaced due to seal failure. Right now I have 4 additional panes that need to be replaced for the same issue. Sent contact information on 11/15/23. Will update if and wh en issue has been addressed and corrected . Fingers crossed. I am a 77 year old widow with Macular degeneration and unable to deal with the process you suggested. Your service department previously repaired some defective windows and I am asking that you send someone to inspect and replace the additional defective windows. Have submitted requested information. Now waiting for action. Will update with results.

This was the most rude and disrespectful company Ive ever encountered. Im glad I can say that Ive never had the pleasure of hiring them for any service. If you hire them for anything, be prepared for rude and disrespectful.
