Went for lunch, yesterday. We are new to the area and this is the second time that we have been to this restaurant. The food is always delicious. The waitress is always friendly and we always get our food pretty fast. She always asks if we want more ice tea or dessert. A very good place to eat. When we get more time, we'll try them for dinner.

I almost never post reviews on restaurants--never felt strongly enough to like or dislike one. Ophelia's however is an exception. The initial impression of the restaurant was okay. It was a busy Sunday morning and the hostess was a little busy, but we were seated quickly. Our waitress seemed to have a lot of tables to handle, and she tried her best. Two problems though--first, the place was dirty--thick dust on the window blinds, dingy appearance to the restrooms and a lot of clutter in the hallways. Second problem, my wife ordered "Monkey pancakes" that were supposed to have bananas, almonds, and coconut. Well, those flavors were there, along with a huge chunk of garlic in the pancakes. We sent the plate back, and the price was taken off our ticket, but other than a "sorry" from the waitress, no apology from management. I know foods can transfer tastes, but this was more than just a little transfer, and the meal was ruined for us. It would have been nice to know that someone in the place cared. We will not return to Ophelia's.
