SpringHill Suites by Marriott Navarre Beach

Usually, we do VRBO, but due to a shorter trip, I booked a couple of nights at Springhill instead. Everything was so convenient. All of the staff were pleasant and accommodating. Our room was clean and comfortable. Awesome shower! Breakfast was great! We had a very late flight on our day of departure, and the hotel worked with us so that we could spend the day on the beach and clean up before heading to the airport. We really enjoyed our stay! Food & drinks: The hotel has a cafe, bar and a full service restaurant. Free delicious breakfast with a rotating menu. They also have an ice cream shop.

We have loved staying at this hotel for the past several years, during Spring Break. But, their Extra $25,00/day "Destination Fee" is a Complete Rip Off!! We used to be able to "Spend" the $25.00 at All of their shops and restaurants at the Hotel property. But this year they Only Allowed us to use it at one of the restaurants!! The Beach House! Which has an Extremely limited Menu Selection. And, it is Very Very Expensive!! Rooms: Very Clean Food & drinks: Extremely Expensive

Unfortunately I have to share a negative experience here while after coming here for Over 20 years as a loyal customer. On eclipse day I called their front office. I asked very clearly "how much is a gulf side room with a king bed" I was told 209 plus tax. When we got there it was "oh yeah we don't know who told you that" and 330 plus tax. As a business owner myself for over 8 years, I find them not honoring the price they gave me on the phone extremely unprofessional and they have lost a good customer because of it. Whether they misspoke or made a mistake its the principle that matters. They should have ate the loss and honored their word period so I will not return to one of my most favorite hotels. Staff is extremely kind and pleasant, rooms are upkept well and have never had a quam before now

A lot to like here, but a some improvements could be made. On the positive side the location on the beach is amazing, good amenities with the pool/lazy river, the ice cream shop in the lobby is amazing (and a great idea to make the best of the underutilized space), and the sand volleyball court was a nice surprise. The rooms were nice and good in size. As far as improvements, most of the time there was only 1 working elevator (which made for very long waits), the pool should have been kept cleaner (I wont go into detail, but it was noticeable that cleaning wasnt frequent), and theres a daily fee applied every day just to use their one full service restaurant, but its too slow and the food wasnt worth it. Even the wait staff was badmouthing how long it was taking to get orders out. I only went twice and was over it by then. This seems to be a trend with Marriott charging these fees to prop up their restaurants, but its really off putting. At least let guest use it at any of the 3 venues, theres 2 quick service restaurants that I much preferred.
