Dr. Stelnicki grossly misdiagnosed my son. I was concerned over the shape of my son's head and my pediatrician had indicated that a quick visit to Stelnicki would clear things up. Instead of clearing things up, he had me take my son to an eye Dr (one he required), get a CT scan of his head (at 6 months old they had to do this in the hospital and under sedation), 3 office visits, ($1500 out of pocket). After the CT scan came back with no concern from the radiologist review, Stelnicki still told me to go and see a neurosurgeon (one he required) to check for "possible pressure" in my son's head that could cause brain damage. My gut instinct told me that something was wrong with the way he was operating and I went to a completely different Neurosurgeon (this one from Tampa's Children's Hospital). This Dr took one look at my sons head and said that NOTHING was wrong with him. He even said that he was shocked at how Dr. Stelnicki could have possibly thought something was wrong. He then called my pediatrician to warn her not to send anyone else to Stelnicki. Steer clear of this Dr.
