Showed up to my appointment fifteen minutes early, ended up waiting an hour and a half after my appointment time. After my name was called, I continued to wait for about fifteen minutes. Two hours in, I still did not receive my basic cleaning. We waited until the owner came back from his lunch break. I decided to leave after more than two hours of waiting, and still had not received the cleaning. I Was ignored in the waiting room by every employee the whole one hour and a half. Not one word to let me know they were sorry for the wait, or to let me know Id be taken back soon. Every employee spoke Spanish the whole time to one another, so I had no idea what was happening. Just had to wait until I heard my name. After more than two hours, I had no cleaning done and no full examination. They ended up overcharging me $30 more than what it says on their website(Wish Id seen that beforehand.) Dr. Steele was kind and informative, the young woman who helped me with the X-ray was kind as well. Other than them, everyone was very dismissive and unwelcoming.

DO NOT I repeat DO NOT go to this dentist. Lets start from walking in the door. The plethora of front desk workers would lead you to believe you will get amazing quick service. Its a mirage. The ladies are rude, have zero knowledge of what they are doing and taught to be more of a used car salesmen. They speak Spanish the entire time and the things I heard while there was mind blowing. I was asked when I arrived if I spoke Spanish and I said no. (I do speak Spanish but Ive learned if you want to know whats really going on, say you dont.) These ladies made fun of every patient that came in, including me. I am not one for confrontation so I just bit my lip and listened. While waiting, to be seen I was able to hear everything going on with patients in the back. There is absolutely no privacy. I guess HIPAA isnt a concern to that office. They dont close doors or create any kind of barrier between patients being seen and the waiting room. On top of that, when you walk in the door, there is an X-ray machine and computer to view X-rays right there for anyone outside the window and anyone in the sitting area to see. Beside the computer/x-ray machine at the front door is a drinking fountain that is leaking all over the floor. Huge safety hazard. Once you are seated and waiting for the dentist, you will wait until he is done walking around the office laughing at things on his phone. When he comes in he immediately speaks down to you like you are a worthless person. He cusses more than a sailor directly at you. He doesnt explain anything and belittles you for having whatever your issue is. He then precedes to tell you that either you pay this exuberant amount of money to have him fix this problem or the problem you are having is going to turn fatal. He says that most dental offices dont even know how to treat your problem so either get it done right or go somewhere else and get it done wrong. I even listened to him berate a man because he was from Canada and he mentioned healthcare was free there. He told the man then go back to Canada and get it fixed. After being seen by him he walks out of where I was sitting and tells his desk people that I most definitely cant afford his services and to give me a plan of action printout and get me out of his office. I was never given any options on ways to afford the treatment I needed when I know there were options based on the literature Id seen. I am also reporting this dentist to the Office for Civil Rights and AHCA's HIPAA Compliance Office as well as the Florida Dental Association/Florida Board of Dentistry. I plead with anyone who sees this review to heed my warning. In this day and age, social media/reviews are the most powerful tool we have to get the word out and get awful businesses shut down. The facility is unprofessional, unsanitary and truly doesnt care about anyone. It only cares about the money it generates by the end of the day.

Dear Amenci,It’s unfortunate your experience wasn’t as expected. Occasionally we it wrong and try to accommodate too many people. On those instances, some patients wind up waiting longer than they should. As you did today. If there’s anything we can do to make it up to you. Please let us know by texting or calling (239) 821-8385.

Hello Black Canary,Thanks for sharing your thoughts. We strive to find treatment solutions for every reasonable budget. If you don't feel that was the case, we are happy to try again. That being said, your condition is very serious. You should not delay treatment. If you're unable to find a dentist today, to work with your finances. You should go to the emergency room.
