I've known Miss Pamela for nearly 15 years. She's "one of a kind." She's been my therapist, sober living manager, colleague, boss. But most of all, my friend. I wouldn't be where I am in life today without the tough love she gave me for so many years. Everything she's accomplished she's done with the sole purpose of helping another addict stay clean one day at a time.

I was super nervous about this step I was taking in my life.. I remember nights on nights crying praying for God to fix my life.. then my husband found Pam and recovery solutions. she's an absolute angel and I truly believe she's going to save my life! As I've dreaded past therapy sessions there's something different when I joined recovery solutions that I feel myself thriving in group.. im learning new things about myself about addiction and mental illness and you now im realizing abstinence and recovery is possible and is so easy once you have the right tools.. recovery solutions gives you these tools.. definitely if you're struggling in any way with substance abuse or mental health reach out.. help is possible

Complete and utter vile and dissolute cretins. Went for therapy for ptsd from childhood trauma, yet I was sent to about 8 NA and AA meetings in 6 days. When I told the group at the meeting I’ve never had an alcohol or drug problem in my life and that Instead I was there for ptsd, they said that I was just an alcohol/drug addict in denial, and that I should admit to my problem. My session with the psychiatrist was over Skype , not even in person which I deserved for the money I was paying. I did not receive one individual therapy session in person during the ten days I was there , besides the initial intake where they asked my history. We had group therapy sessions and some of them were conducted by therapists who did not even work there, but were being interviewed for a job there. So our “therapy session” was someone else’s job interview. I was uncomfortable with all the NA and AA meetings and asked after ten days if I could finish the program as an outpatient, that way I could just attend the group therapy and avoid elements of the program that were not relevant to my situation. The director hesitated and then said I could not finish as an outpatient because every day I woke up a few minutes late, and my lack of punctuality would disrupt the program. This is extremely hypocritical as the program was supposed to start each day at 930 and the director would start it sometimes like around 11. After this terrible experience , and leaving after being there 10 days, we still had to pay 13,000$ dollars. I am currently working on a lawsuit and now I feel like filing a malpractice grievance or whatever they call it, and the following paragraph explains why. I sought treatment for abuse growing up in my childhood, for which I was diagnosed with C-ptsd. The abuse was mainly psychological and verbal, but sometimes physical. Anyone trained in psychology should understand the dynamics of emotional abuse, and the negative effects of codependency and narcissistic projection. Instead, on the discharge reports, they said that I claimed abuse only because my family didn’t live their life based off my wants. They then said I distort reality when I don’t get my way. Who treats a patient like this ? I can tell them to think carefully before giving some smart response to this, because God sees everything. Everything I speak right now is truth.
