I cannot recommend S&J catering enough! Nathalie and staff were absolutely wonderful to work with for our corporate event and we absolutely could not have done this without them. They were accommodating to last minute changes, friendly, and the food was delicious! I do events all over the country and this team was BY FAR one of the best vendors we ever worked with. Thank you S&J!

I really thought long and hard before writing this review, because as a woman and minority I would hate to disparage another but I want to warn other clients before booking with the *new* S&J.While planning my babyshower, I was made aware that S&J (being a preferred vendor at West Broward Hall) had great customer service. After speaking to the old owner, Jackie, I knew they were ideal for our brunch babyshower. I received a proposal from Jackie, and while finalizing the rental at the hall - they sold to Nathalie.I probably should've know things weren't going to go smoothly once Nathalie sent me another proposal almost 50% higher than the original - after speaking with her the price increased to something we both agreed to but after that it was pretty much a bumpy road.Nathalie stated none of the cutlery was included in the CATERING PRICE. So I guess the food, but no plates to eat it on? She retracted that soon after. I emailed her the week of my event to touch base and give her the details of table placements etc. Then 3 days before my event she told me she could quote me extra for setup/breakdown even though I was told the agreement with the hall and them being a preferred vendor was that they had to do that. I met with the Manager of the hall who had to call her and let her know. At that time, I was made aware she hadn't even met the Manager yet even though it had been months since she took over.The final straw was her being 30 minutes late on THE DAY OF after pushing it 30 minutes already the night before. So the hall rental was from 9-4 and the event was 11-3, she showed up at 10. The owner of the hall had to let my husband and event planner in to start setting up. So when my guest arrived they were still setting up which was completely uncalled for and caused me undue stress.Annnnnd then after paying for mimosa service I was made aware the day of it was only for two hours. They ran out of mimosas and Nathalie did go to Publix to buy more but why did it have to get to that?Was my babyshower beautiful and the guests fed? Yes, but did I deserve all of the stress leading up to and on the day of? No.So with that I say .. book wisely.
