I wish I could leave a positive review, but I just can't. We started our 2 children at LEAD in kindergarten, and were thrilled with the teachers, learning, curriculum, etc. After over 5 years at this school however, our perspective has completely changed. This school cares about 1 thing only: MONEY! Each year we were there, the tuition increased little by little, while the quality of education got worse and worse. The elementary school is not horrible, but the middle school and high school are a joke. I don't even think I would call it a school. It's more like really expensive babysitting. And the teachers....some are great, others are completely clueless, they just work there so their kids get discounted tuition. And then there's the Lay family. Frank Lay is an amazing man, who started this school with a purpose and a vision. Unfortunately, he's given leadership positions to multiple family members who really have no business in education. They are rude, incompetent, and think they own the school (I guess they pretty much do). I'm thankful for my kids early years there, but wish we pulled them out sooner. We have since found another Christian school that uses an actual curriculum for middle and high school, and doesn't act like money is the most important thing.
