This place is horrible for pickups, the managers are very rude and will simply ignore you. If you wanna sit here all day waiting to get loaded then this is the place for you

On a scale of 1 to 5 stars, this company rates 500! I have never dealt with a grower directly, however, my experience with them far exceeds anything I could have imagined. This is the story of how, after two years of stalking every garden center I entered, I finally got my Dream Plant! My tale began two years ago on Facebook. I had actually never heard of a variegated elephant ear, but when I saw it, it was love at first sight. As a plant enthusiast (hoarder), I have been quietly on the lookout for one ever since. One night a couple of weeks ago, I was reading a plant blog. A commenter posted a picture of their variegated elephant ear. It was truly stunning and reignited my zeal to find this elusive plant. Their plant was in a "Monrovia" branded nursery pot. I surfed over to their site, and there it was! After all this time, could it really be this easy? I emailed requesting to purchase one. An amazing manager, Justin, chatted with me for several days. He told me that while those plants are sold in their pots, they are grown by a Miami grower, Nature's Way, and sold at Lowe's Stores. He recommended I contact all area Lowe's to request a special order. I called every dang Lowe's Garden Center from Naples to Sarasota; no one could special order it. I actually went directly to my favorite Lowe's to ask (harass) them directly. They said they simply put out whatever is in the delivery. They suggested I contact the grower directly to see if they could help. This is where my Plant Fairy Godmother, Marta Maria comes in. I sent an email to Nature's Way to explain my dilemma. She requested the address of my nearest Lowe's and my contact information. Within a few days, she had a plant pulled from their inventory and on a truck headed to my Lowe's store with my name on it! She emailed to let me know the date it would be arriving and her assistant, Linda (?), actually CALLED me to confirm it would be there the following morning! Of course, I was there first thing. Marta Maria told me that their company was holding their stock of these plants to wait for them to get larger, so I was expecting a small plant (which I would have been overjoyed with). However, when the manager, Greg, walked in with this monster, I was floored! I literally screamed! He said, "I've seen you happy before, but I've never seen you THIS HAPPY!" I was totally tearing up! This plant is enormous with 21... yes 21 points of growth!!! I still cannot believe I own this. And for so little money!!! This work of art cost $25! My jaw dropped when I saw the price! Unfortunately, I am in the process of setting up my back garden and pond, so I know my pictures do not do this plant justice. I'm a little embarrassed of how unorganized it looks back there, but once I get everything planted, and presentable, I will post updated pictures. I just wanted to get this review posted as soon as possible. In any case, needless to say, this company is OUTSTANDING... or should I say, the employees who comprise this company are outstanding. Marta Maria is an absolute ROCKSTAR! As a plantaholic and a Lowe's Garden Center regular (annoying) customer, I absolutely love Monrovia plants and I am certain I have purchased plants produced by this grower. But this experience of having direct contact with them truly put this company over the top. I cannot thank Marta Maria enough for going so far above-and-beyond for little old me! My dream actually came true!!! Fairy Godmothers are real!!!
