Excellent place for your child to catch up if they're behind on Math. David the director, is very caring and fun and he really tries his best to help your child. Highly recommend them.

My twin boys' education (specifically their English reading/comprehension skills) suffered greatly during the pandemic. In February 2020 (pre-pandemic) they were in Kindergarten, and testing as such. Fast forward to their first progress report and test results when entering 2nd grade in September 2021, and we come to find out that they are still reading like kindergarteners! We enrolled them at the Sylvan Learning Center of Kendall in October, and having just finished their first block of lessons, the boys were tested again to see where they stand... Both are now reading at a second grade level! We will be keeping them enrolled here so that they may hopefully be ahead of the "average" and reading at a 3rd grade level in advance of the new school year. We are EXTREMELY THANKFUL to everyone at Sylvan Learning Center of Kendall for their dedication to our boys' development!

We decided to enroll our kids in Sylvan at the beginning of the school year, as the kids were just coming from being in a homeschooling environment due to COVID. We knew that their math and reading levels needed to improve. We hoped that they could help our kids build back their skills and gain confidence. We started seeing the results just a few weeks into the program. Fast-forward 7 months: my sons reading level went up several levels (at the learning center and when it was measured in school as well). My daughters math knowledge has also expanded significantly; she was able to get into the math club in her school and permanently is staying ahead of her class. I would recommend Sylvan if your kid is struggling at school or they just want to be a successful student.
